We offer a wide variety of services to anyone in Northern Wisconsin. All major insurances are accepted and new patients are welcome. Please give us a call today at 715-478-5180 to make an appointment.
A negative Covid-19 test is required before any patient will be allowed to enter the clinic for an appointment. We ask that all patients observe 6 ft. social distancing when they visit our clinic. Masks are required. If you have a pre-existing medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask please call us before you arrive so we can make arrangements for your appointment.
Medical Services
We offer non-urgent medical care including primary care visits, sports physicals and more. WIC services and laboratory services are also available!
Behavioral Health
We are here to help you in bettering your mental health with counseling and other treatments to support positive client outcomes.
Podiatry
Our foot care specialist is available twice a month for services treating your foot, ankle, or leg structure.
Dental Services
Same day and emergency appointments for our dental services are offered, as well as regularly scheduled visits.
Alcohol and Drug Abuse
AODA programs are available to those in need. We offer the best care and consideraton for our outpatient treatment.
Medicare & Medicaid
We take all forms of health insurance and even have a team member that specializes in Medicaid and Medicare that will help you determine your program eligibility or other insurance needs our patients may require.
COVID-19 Testing
At SCC Health Clinic, we’ve made changes with COVID-19 a priority. We offer drive through antibody testing with results in as soon as one to two days.
Vocational Rehabilitation
For those needing assistance with vocational rehabilitation, we’re here to assist you in overcoming any barriers you may have, such as functional, cognitive, or emotional disabilities.

Dr. Richard Brandner
Dr. Brandner has worked at the Sokaogon Chippewa Health Clinic for nine years. He has held several titles including Medical Director, Family Doctor, Family Doctor, and Pharmacist. Recently, Dr. Brandnew has become Lab Director and oversees lab policies and procedures. He began his career attending the Medical College of Wisconsin and become a Pharmacist in 1970. He has been working in Family Practice since 1978 as a Board-Certified Family Practice Doctor. Dr. Brandnew is passional about providing care for both Tribal and community members. You can find him filling in as the Sokaogon Chippewa Health Clinic Pharmacist.

Bobbi Jo Bissonette
MSN, APNP, NP-C
Bobbi is a family nurse practitioner who enjoys caring for patients of all ages. She believes in providing individualized care for each patient. She values preventative care and promoting wellness. She is passionate about providing quality care for Sokaogon Tribal members and community members. She is competent in providing chronic care for diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroidism and hyperlipidemia. She enjoys caring for women and women’s health needs too. She is certified in Nexplanon insertion and in performing CDL exams. Bobbi is also one of our providers that will be assisting in the Tribal medication assisted treatment program.

Suzette Katchko
MSN, APNP, FNP-C
Suzette grew up in southern Wisconsin on her family’s beef, pork, and dairy farm. She worked as a CNA in a developmentally delayed nursing home and fell in love with medicine! More recently, she has been a nurse practitioner for nearly 15 years! She enjoys working in a partnership style of care with her patients and families to optimize their overall health. She has a strong emphasis on preventative and wellness management while coordinating and managing treatments for chronic disease conditions. For many years she was a provider in an internal medicine
clinic working exclusively with diabetics of all types, ages, and stages. This included type 1, type 2 gestational as well as transplant patients. She is passionate about providing comprehensive care for
Tribal and community members.
Outside of work she enjoys traveling, hiking, sewing, swimming, reading, and learning new languages and cultures.
HEALTH CARE EXPERIENCE:
• 18 years of experience in an SICU setting/Level II trauma setting in Chicago’s Resurrection Hospital system.
• 20 years of experience in ED setting at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander, WI.
• 2 years of experience working with tribal members at Forest County Potawatomi
Center.
• Adjunct clinical nursing instructor at Nicolet College.
EDUCATION:
• Master’s of science as a nurse practitioner at Concordia University.
• Bachelor’s of Science degree at UW
Wisconsin-Madison.
LICENSURE:
• Advanced practice nurse practitioner in
Wisconsin and Minnesota.
• Registered nurse Wisconsin and Illinois.
MEMBERSHIP:
• Longstanding member of American Diabetes Association and Association of diabetic care and education specialist.
• Wisconsin nurses Association.
• Sigma Theta Tau.
CERTIFICATIONS:
• American Nurses Credentialing Center.
• Preparing for BC-ADM certification for
advanced diabetes management.
